My husband and I came here twice because their chili is good. The first time we came, without thinking, we ordered tap water and got charged $5. That was our bad because we should have asked if it cost. The second time we went we came prepared with our water bottle. We ordered and when the lady brought us our food she told us we couldn’t drink our own water and told us to put it away. She didn’t offer us water even though we couldn’t drink ours and we had to eat our meal with no drink. I thought it was pretty rude and there was no one else in there so what does it matter if we drink from a water bottle. Tucked away in a corner, this is a great place to visit. My friend and I found this place while we were exploring the region. Beautiful view. Quick service. The server speaks perfect English and is very friendly. We ordered simple Margherita along with chicken wings. The pizza was made fresh and not out of the box kinds. We paid around 40 CHF for two people which I think is great considering Swiss dining prices. They do not accept cards though.

We stopped mid-way through our walk around a Lake Lingern and enjoyed a mid-morning coffee break. Everything tasted good, and the cafe is whimsically decoratedcwith old records, antiques and Swiss memorabilia. Pleasant service and ambiance.

New owners who are really trying and succeeding. Fresh fish goujons and the like very tasty. Nice sitting on the terrace sipping a beer or a glass of wine or just a coffee. Views of mountains and the lungernsee

Glorious compact care bar hidden away from Main Street. Friendly staff and great place to start your day. We didn't have the opportunity to eat here again as it was closed Sunday and Monday , sadly.
