It's been a long time,my friend had a craving for Lebanese food and last time I was here it was called Emma's on Liberty It's become more trendy,if my memory serves me right they had long benches before and more traditional Lebanese food,now the food portions have shrunk to smaller sizes so the name change is appropriate Food wise it's better than your average Lebanese place. This is a really small and busy restaurant. You order from the counter and they deliver the food. It's quick and efficient. It's BYO which is fantastic. There were 4 of us and we pretty much had one of everything. The lamb roll was amazing. The falafel was delicious. It's all fresh and way above many of the middle eastern places in the neighbourhood. It's full of locals out for a casual dinner. Its a great place for a pre Enmore dinner not so for a romantic dinner for 2. Vegetarian options: There is plenty there for non meat eaters. Emma's Snack Bar is a lovely neighbourhood bar specialises in Middle Eastern cuisine at the corner in Enmore. There were two Birthday celebrations during my visit yesterday and lights in the restaurant were dimmed for an impromptu chorale ensemble to belt out birthday songs. I ordered several ethnic food including the spicy hummus, grilled chicken fillet, prawns and pink lemonade. Food was not too bad but not exceptional. The same old complaints - Bleached prawns, cold dough. But the highlight is probably the garlic mayo which comes along with my grilled chicken. Expect the unexpected! Reserve uma mesa agora

Delicious food, I don't know what they put on the roasted brussel sprouts but I've had dreams about them every night since, they are AMAZING. Pickles and labne were amazing and I appreciate that there is a lot of bread per serving, you could almost have 2 people for 1 serve. Lamb kibbeh and pumpkin kibbeh were fresh out of the kitchen, hot and melted in your mouth. It is very busy, so book well in advance. All the food was great, we had the banquet and it was a generous amount. It was great that we could get the meat banquet for 3 people and the vegetarian banquet for 3 people so we had a great variety of food. One of the servers clearly didn't want to be there but service was still good and it wasn't hard to get anything we needed.
