After arriving we were asked about drinks, this proved to be the last time we were asked. My partners pasta were frozen Ravioli from the supermarket with some sauce thrown over it that was suppose to be Arrabiata or spicy. It was bland, when he said the sauce isnt right the waitress shrugged and went away. My meal was salt and pepper squid, it was thinly sliced and the coating was soggy, to say there were 10 thin strips on the plate is being kind. I had to ask for Oil and Balsamic dressing for the salad and I was overwhelmed by the undercooked shoestring chips which was the main item on the plate. No one asked us if we wanted dessert or coffee but they probably didn't hear us over the din in...
I had a wonderful dining experience at a charming cafe in a quaint countryside town. The restaurant offers delicious Italian cuisine with a wide variety of options and generous servings. The wood-fired pizzas are cooked perfectly with a generous amount of toppings. The main dishes are juicy and well-presented. The service is friendly yet not overwhelming, creating a comfortable and family-friendly atmosphere. Overall, the dining experience was fantastic with delectable food. I highly recommend making a stop at this town for a meal. Thank you for a lovely evening.
The Empire Cafe was recommended and so our bike ride diverted to Two Wells. Impressive menu, excellent table service and even a wine list. The pizza was great but for my taste there was too much topping on our medium seafood pizza. Most people would probably enjoy it. Excellent apple and rocket salad. Really happy to have found this place and we will visit again. I loved the fact we didn't have to order and pay up front...so annoying at other places in South Australia.
A lovely cafe in a small country town that serves great Italian food. This cafe has an extensive menu with generous portions and beautifully cooked. The wood oven pizzas are crisp with plentiful toppings. Mains are succulent and nicely presented. The service was friendly but non intrusive. A pleasant relaxed atmosphere that is family friendly. Terrific dining with amazing food. Worth a detour to this township. Thank you for an enjoyable evening. Reserve uma mesa agora
The service was great, the food was exceptional, and the owner even came out to ask if everything was okay. I told him it was amazing and I will definitely be back soon. I highly recommend dining here - the portions are generous and every waitress was fantastic. You won't regret it, I promise.
