We have been to En Catimini many times since discovering it by chance last year and have never been disappointed. As vegetarians living in France it was a joy to find a restaurant that not only served vegetarian food, but produced interesting, tasty, beautifully presented vegetarian French food. They use fresh, local, seasonal produce. Each time we visit we encounter different dishes; always superb. It is excellent for carnivores too (with whom we normally dine! with a variety of interesting meat, but also fish, dishes. On the menu it is indicate that other dietary needs can be accomodated. unfortunately the setting and the waitress where the only thing going for this place. The food was tasteless and bland with a discrete lack of seasoning! They need to concentrate on simple dishes instead of overly complicated food. Promised more than they could deliver, luckily we cut our losses after the starter or the bill would have been a Punch in the stomach worse than the food. We went to a McDonalds straight after. Happily the food was more filling and satisfying than the food that we got here.

If you visit this area in France you must eat at En Catimini. The food and the hosts are fabulous. The patron has great knowledge of the wines from the region and Hermionie speaks exceptional English. The whole experience is one not to be missed. In summer ones eats in the lovely garden and during inclement days one eats in the beautiful Chinese dining room. This small village are very lucky to have such a prestigious restaurant in their midst.

We had a fantastic dinner tonight with the four of us (two adults and two children of 10 and fourteen). Fish, meat, lovely desserts and great wines. We had a nice spot in the garden. Our QR codes were checked according to the regulations. Excellent service. Paul

Very relaxed and calm atmosphere, the food was fabulous, the wine was to die for and the staff very friendly and helpful.The mini tour after our meal was a great treat. I will be returning.
