En Cuisine - Reservar uma mesa

Luckily my birthday this year fell on a Friday not a Monday (like our anniversary earlier in the year) so we had a wide variety of restaurant choices for the celebration. I fancied something upmarket and En Cuisine fitted that bill perfectly. As a recommended Restaurant in the Michelin Guide there are stickers from the last 4 years on the door, and this year a recipient of a Bib Gourmand award as well (Bib being short for Bibendum, the Michelin Man’s name, in the form of a Michelin Man’s hungry face sticker) I determined it was the place to go This lovely restaurant serving great food is hidden away behind an unprepossessing exterior. Do not look any further for somewhere to have a fantastic dinner. This place is worth driving a 100 Kilometres for. How this restaurant does not have a Michelin star I can only wonder. It is by far the best Bib Gourmand restaurant we have ever eaten in and we have eaten in many over the years. The standard and finesse of the dishes is extraordinary. I have eaten in many one star Michelin star restaurants over the years and not many can hold a candle to En Cuisine. I was chef poissonier at the Dorchester Hotel London and featured in greatest hotels of the world Channel 5. I do think I know great food when I see it and taste it. Great restaurant and incredibly reasonable

We were passing by Brive on our way to Sarlat. We searched for a Michelin restaurant for lunch and found this. Everyone was quite friendly and helpful--and the lunch was superb! Lovely presentation and tastes were great...so glad we stopped!

Today the best restaurant in Brive. Original, inspired cooking. Very agreeable inside or in the walled garden. Two originals I admired were the small accompanyment of sorbet basil and sorbet vin rouge. Don’t hesitate to try it.

Well worth the visit. High quality food prepared by people who care and have great skill. Perfect quantities and adequate choice
