we were in ales for only two nights and had read about epices et tout on tripadvisor, so we thought we should try. we had the luck to have booked as it was full and although it is a small restaurant, the atmosphere was really. well we started both with the house foie gras, which was excellent and was accompanied by a house made chutney, which was just as delicious and complemented the creamy texture of foie gras. my man chose the daurade and I had the huh and both dishes were nicely cooked and the presentation was perfection. we ended up with a chocolate desert and we were both very impressed by the ambiente, the service, the portions and the food and I would not hesitate to recommend this r...

this restaurant serves very imaginative and delicious dishes in a pleasant environment with stylish decor. the service was friendly and attentive and very adaptable. one of our party was vegetarian and another vegan and they were pleased that vegetarian options were in the offer, and the restaurant...was also in the location, the vegetarian dishes for a vegan. the fish and carnivores among us were also very satisfied. we had the feeling that the 30 Euro Set menu offers a very good value, given the standards of the kitchen in the offer. les epices et tout is understandably very popular and we were very glad that they made us fit on a busy Friday night when we had only telephoned before an hou...

everything was great at this restaurant: eating, service, the environment. service was perfect with the right time for us to decide what to get from the menu. the pace in which eating was brought on our table was ideal: perfect. time for us, not to feel in a hurry, but not slowly, so we don't ask ourselves what's going on. eating was amazing, with a hauch of originality in all plates. comes back in definitiw. many free parking nearby.

After we have seen excellent critikens in the local presse and about the michelin bib Gourmand guide, we have decided to try épices et tout in alès as a group of friends. we were not disappointed! the menu du jour was delicious, good value and perfectly presented. excellent. we will return to try the à la carte menu. Thank you!

The restaurant had been open for more than a decade but was completely renovated after water damage a few years ago. The grey decor is stunning as is the superb cuisine and excellent service. If you are in the area we would recommend Epice and...Tout for its great cuisine and calm ambiance. Sam Leigh London
