I have only been to two other restaurants of this caliber before, so my experience is not extensive as some others, as a full disclaimer. Overall me and my fiancee had an incredibly experience, our waiter (gentlemen from Spain) was an incredible host. His knowledge and expertise of the dishes while keeping everything light and fun was what I had imagined an experience at EquiTable to be like. My impressions There are many restaurants that practice and practice the famous phrase “the customer is king”. The kitchen and service team at Equitable goes one step further. “The customer is part of the family!” We start the evening with a lot of warmth. The service is experienced with incredible helpfulness and foresight. The pace was always tailored to us, the upcoming bottle of red wine was already uncorked for ventilation and tasted. Celebrated and enjoyed our wedding anniversary today. The 7-course menu was sensational, for us one of the best (culinary) experiences in Zurich. Service very friendly and professionally correct. Ingredients from the menu are seasonal, regional and high quality. The only wish for improvement: In this day and age, the vegetarian menu could be a bit cheaper than the meat and fish menu, especially if you simply leave out fish/meat for 1-2 courses and otherwise serve them identically.

Very enjoyable experience. Food is amazing both the vegi option and the one with fine pieces of meat and fish added. Juice pairing particular showed lots of exciting new tastes. Service is friendly and the atmosphere captures quartierlokal while still being the findest dinging. Very glad we went.
