Eric’s Fish And Chips Holt

Well, that has to be the best Fish and Chips ever! Actually, we had battered squid instead of fish and it was amazing . Even better, one of our party had the squid using gluten free ingredients which is so rarely seen . Our meal came with home made Tatare Sauce, Eric's Black Garlic Mayo and a tray of mushy peas what's not to love? We were served by Teresa who was totally attentive and knowledgeable. We ate inside. Everything was spotless, bright and cheerful. Although our party didn't include children, we saw highchairs ready for families that needed them and the menu had a good choice of children's options. I would definitely recommend Eric's and we will be returning soon .

A fantastic spot with stylish decor and good fish and chips. We were lucky with our timing and easily snagged a table, but it filled up quickly, indicating its popularity. The wait was worth it. We all ordered the cod and chips; the fish was perfectly moist and crispy, while the chips were quite good and abundant. The dessert options, including steamed Oreos, looked tempting, but we were too full to indulge. I would rate the chips a 6/10 (the batter wasn't to my preference), the fish an 8/10, and the overall experience was excellent, so I would definitely recommend a 5-star review.

What a beautiful experience! Thank you for discovering this gem. I've truly found my inner joy here. Seriously, you must try the fish – it was delightful, tender, and the wine sauce was excellent. The staff is wonderful, and I have no doubt that the restrooms were also immaculate.

Fantastic fish and chips! I was really happy to have discovered this place after finding two other chip shops closed for the bank holiday. I hadn't heard much about fish and chips here, but this was a great example. The staff was also very friendly. A great experience overall!

great Friday evening eating in fish and chips were this delicious crispy teig and chips homemade tartaric acid sauce and muddy heaps. friendly staff large place to eat would recommend, they can order and take away as necessary
