It wasn't them...It was the atmosphere and customers actually.and me not knowing the setting.The food was great, the service was amazing and I will go back for that.I do personally like Hoffman house better. More my atmosphere, live bands and waterfront scenery so you can watch the boats go by, have a firepit on the sandy beach.....but that's bc I personally like that setting.This place was not set up for a group gathering, regardless of the type of gathering...i thought bc of noise level and inside room seating so close you couldn't enjoy yourself without the other ppl who are there for a quiet romantic evening being annoyed.So if you are going on a dinner date with your love, want nice fak...

for the first time in this restaurant to celebrate my man birthday and the entire meal was a catastrophe from the food to service. the bretzel appetizer was good, but that was certainly not worth the disappointing experience. from forgetting to refresh the drinks, the long wait for eating and the entire meal including the salad, we will not recommend it. the waitress said that they were short on help and the kitchen area was overwhelmed with commands, but that do not relieve the bad food and the bad service. with the praises for a better average $35, I would think that they should be embarrassing for what they offer for the height of the service they offer. not ever back.

good food, slightly overpriced. beautiful environment. prices nowhere near the prices online. the waitress didn't seem to be there. we ordered beer soup and she gave us brokkoli and cheddar and told us nothing until we asked what was for a suppe it was. instead of telling us that they were from beer soup and that was what she gave us suppe, the person I was with, not so. don't go back, but if they like German food, their food was good.

so disappointed. one of our favorite places. the recent order was extremely disappointing and prices have increased dramatically. that's not worth it at all. not a price shopper and more than willing to pay for large foods, but that was amazingly disappointing. the take-out menu is misleading, not recommended. we are so disappointed and sad for the change.

an excellent restaurant for high quality German cuisine. a good selection of beer and weeping, but only a few German beer on the way. service is impeccable and friendly. a certain must have a beautiful and authentic German meal!
