Evans Cafe - Reservar mesa

I had some mince pies gifted to me from a friend after I shared my quest of finding the very best mince pies. I think I may have just found them!!!! They are made with love at Evans Cafè ! They are packaged in a lovely Christmas box and there were 6 large mince pies in there. The pastry was light and crumbly and they were generously filled with a sweet mince inside. It was a close your eyes moment and I'm not sure I can go back to regular mince pies now, nor would I want to. Amazingly spoilt by your culinary genius I would travel across the County for these! And I dodnt take a pic because they didn't last long enough. But trust me, I'm a mince pie connoisseur.

You can order your main dishes from the Sandwich shop and dessert from here. They make a decent roll, but their best offering is the cakes. Don't settle for a chain takeout store, as their sandwiches, cakes, and pastries don't compare. Support local suppliers to maintain the uniqueness of your high street and ensure their success.

By recommendation I visited this establishment just to buy a cake. My wife and I have lived in Wales for nearly 40 years, and I can honestly say that in all that time I have never received such a miserable and poor service. The cake was lovely, such a shame about the miserable person. Hopefully life isn’t so bad for them?

The fresh rolls here are delicious, and although they may be a bit pricier than other places, they are definitely worth it. The fact that this place is always bustling with people is a good indicator of its quality. Reserve uma mesa agora

Best place in the entire town for a cake or sausage roll or sandwich and always has been! Service is always quick and courteous and it always looks clean and tidy.

2 inside at any one time for social distancing which doesnt detract at all from the quality of the takeaway items on offer. Chelsea's are the best for miles!!

I stopped by this restaurant for a coffee on a gloomy day while traveling through Newtown. The service was quick and I thoroughly enjoyed the delicious cake. Reserve uma mesa agora

You won’t get any better Chelsea buns anywhere. The bread and rolls are pretty amazing also, unfortunately because of Covid the cafe is not running as yet
