Everest Nepalese Restaurant and Cafe

Went to this restaurant for the first time last night and loved it. It is cozy, authentically decorated and the food was delicious. Service was great as well. We have done some trekking in Nepal and they had a large screen on the wall flicking thru lots of Nepalese scenes. It was really fabulous seeing some of the places we had been and activities we had done so much so that it made you think of booking another trip ! Would normally go to the Himalaya Nepalese in Vic Pk for our Nepalese/Indian food fix but will now make the Everest Himalaya our local instead.

This is a good place to eat and experience the taste sensations offered by this cuisine. The food is tasty and well presented and although we arrived just before their closing time on a Tuesday evening, it was served with a smile. I did note however that the lights behind the reception desk started being switched off after about 30 minutes - perhaps that was a hint that the waitress wanted to go home! However, we understood that she had probably had a long day and we were happy they served us at that hour.

Recently had dinner with friends at this Nepalese restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Food was good, service was quick and very friendly. Although we were the last to leave there was no pressure on us to go. Will definitely go back. P.s. Don't worry if the servings seem small - you will have plenty to eat.

My husband and I ate here mid week in August 2016. We were the only diners that night. The food was some of the best from that region I've had and prices were good. The staff were friendly.

We ate on a very quiet night and the food was hot fresh and tasty. The dishes arrived quickly and service was good. The dishes are reasonably priced and we will return.
