This restaurant feels like the Cheers of Chicago. It's a great spot to relax before a show, with a wide selection of beer on tap and an excellent steak Caesar salad that comes in generous portions. The highlight of my evening was chatting with José, one of the regulars, who was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I made sure to introduce myself to everyone, including the owner. Despite the bustling atmosphere, the staff was attentive and the service was excellent. I truly appreciated how they made a tourist feel like part of the family. I can't wait to return, and a special thanks to José for his warm hospitality and engaging conversation!

First time visiting here! Excellent customer service from entrance to our waiter. Ordered a small build your own deep dish pizza: mushrooms, spinach, pepperoni. This was the best tasting pizza I’ve had in a while. It’s sooooo filling. My BF and I shared a small and I could barely finish the second slice. A personal deep dish is probably enough for two to eat off of. Thanks to the kind and knowledgeable transit driver for the recommendation.

Back in Chicago from Ireland. I think I grew gills from all the fried fish I ate! It was great but I needed pizza!! The deep dish pizza here is so damn good! I had never tried it here until my partner introduced it to me about 4 months ago. I was wowed! So so good! I burned my tongue last night, of course. Can't wait to go back with my honey, but until then, I have the other half of last night's pizza waiting for me in the fridge!!

We absolutely love this restaurant! It's a fantastic venue for hosting large meetings, and the space is quite spacious. They offer a wide variety of drink options. I ordered the Caesar salad with chicken, and it was delicious. He tried the French onion soup, which was also fantastic. The only disappointment was the ranch dressing; it could use some improvement. I loved this place from the second moment, at first I was thrown back by the smell of smoke which is part of the history so in 2 seconds you get used to it and then enjoy the place even more, super friendly staff and the al Capone rigatoni and the Alfredo were amazing and make sure to try the cannelloni- we were very happy and can recommend for sure

This restaurant was recommended by our doorman Steve from The Congress Hotel. There were 16 people, including children. The staff has easily accommodated us. The food was excellent when we return to Chicago, we go back to this restaurant. The theme is inspired gangsters, we loved it!

Friendly bar tender welcomed us for lunch at Exchequer bar/restaurant. Friendly and efficient wait staff. Tasty meatball sandwich with yummy sweet potato fries. Enjoyed fresh chopped salad with balsamic dressing. Excellent lunch reasonably priced. Recommend.

Following my best friend's recommendation, I visited this restaurant with my uncle, and we had a great experience. We tried the deep-dish pizza, which was delicious, along with an exceptional raspberry mule. I definitely plan to return in the future! Reserve uma mesa agora

Delicious deep dish (according to my local friend the best in the city). The building has lots of history. The service was great. Good drink selection.
