Ezell's Famous Chicken

The second you walk into this restaurant the first thing you notice is how good it smells inside. The fried chicken is so juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside. Definitely better tasting than KFC and Popeyes. The mac n cheese had great cheese pull. What really sets them apart aside from their chicken is their fresh rolls. They're so soft and warm and have a thin sweet buttery glaze on them. The perfect addition to the meal. The young lady that took my order was soft spoken and polite. It's been about 2 years since I've ordered from Ezells. I have had so many negative experiences that I gave up.When I heard that they had reopened I considered trying again, but was hesitant due to all of the negative reviews. I am so glad that I decided to give them a chance because it was AMAZING.The best fried chicken I've had I swear. I ordered through doordash. The food was here relatively fast for a Friday at dinner time. It was HOT and everything was fresh.

We stopped in after a long day at the hospital, and we were starving. Arriving about 5pm there was already a line formed and took quite some time to order and receive food. Overall the bread was better than the chicken. Chicken was good, but not the best chicken we've ever had. 3 stars overall ?Food: 3/5

The chicken has zero seasoning. They serve you fast. The okra were excellent and the potatoe salad was good. We threw out much of the chicken. We won't be back but go try it for yourself.Food: 3/5
