Farm House - Reservar uma mesa

My friend recommended one of her favorite restaurants, Farm House to have supper nestled in Chapel Hill. The staff is professional, super friendly and attentive. Jean is amazing! I'm happy we got there before it got busy because we got a good chat in. The ambiance is relaxed, inviting, and comfortable as you feel right at home. I had salad, rib eye (it was flavorful and perfect...my compliments to the Chef), baked potato and it was so delicious! Of course, I had their homemade sweet tea, as any self righteous, Southerner would get. LOL As always, I couldn't finish it all. So brought the rest home. Love everything about this hidden gem on the outskirts of town. Old school vibe down to the decor and incl a complimentary relish tray with chicken pate, pub cheese, veggies and crackers. Low lighting if you want a romantic dinner spot. Steaks are cooked perfectly to order and served on a screaming hot cast iron plate. It'll keep cooking when you get it so if you want it medium rate order rare and so on. The potato is the fluffiest most delicious you'll find anywhere. Staff is always friendly. Highly recommend!

A great, no-frill experience. Farm house makes one thing and they do it well: steak and baked potatoes. We came when they were open on Saturday, and there was already a line out of the door. Despite the initial rush, service was prompt and we had food on our table in no time. Our steaks were delicious. We will definitely come back in the future.

If you really like good steaks at a reasonable price, without nonsense this is the place for you. Steak was probably a better end of the restoration. Pages include potatoes with all the toppings you can wish, salad and some vegetables, pate and cracker as an appetizer.

First visit here. Very cozy and woody feeling. Food was good, but not brilliant. $12 for the chief salad seemed exorbitant, but it was big. Server was pleasant. The dirty, made in China Kerosin lanterns departed from the otherwise rustic American ambience.
