So I have never gotten a great vibe from this place but the food has been good in the past so I figured I would give it another try. I was planning on getting a pizza but the lady at the front desk with a disingenuous tone recommended the Pastrami sandwich. Reluctantly I took her advice and waited at the bar for my food. While waiting at the bar, I noticed the woman making my sandwich was texting on her phone and then proceeded to make my sandwich without washing her hands which took me by complete surprise. I 've dined at this restaurant several times during my visits to Marin (not on my own accord), and it consistently falls into the just fine category for me. It 's not exceptional, but it 's far from terrible. This makes it suitable for a business lunch or a post shopping meal at the Marin County Mart. I wouldn 't make a special trip to eat here. During my recent visit with a group, we tried a variety of items from the menu before ordering our main entrees. The Lemon pizza stood out as a decent and unique option. Everything I've had here is amazing. From vegan soup to scallops, oysters, crabby crab and hummus and guacamole. Can taste the freshness. The pizzas look good too. Wine selection was good also.
