Fat Willy's University Hawes Viewpoint Golf Resort

Our table of 4 was greeted promptly at 645 on a Friday night and our waiter was very attentive. Order placed food and drinks arrived quickly and we were off to a good time. Somewhere mid meal we were ready ready for another round, but couldn't locate our waiter. After a bit of time, one of our party finally went to the bar for drinks and to go boxes, where she was told it was 8:02 and they wouldn't serve any more drinks, even though the place was half full and they were still serving food. What? Our waiter suddenly appeared, apologetically and with the bill, and explained they closed at 8:00, although other locations were open later if we'd like to head there. We saw they have recently started having trivia games here on Thursdays and because we haven’t played in a while and it’s only 10 minutes from our house, decided to come to play and have dinner. The food, drinks and service were all great, and trivia was lots of fun. Hopefully, they’ll continue offering trivia play, and we’ll be back!
