It's not our first time in Fava. They are always consistent in food quality, friendly and professional staff. The restaurant is always very clean and tidy Martin was our waiter last night. He was so nice and informative. He made us feel like he knew us all his life. Jeannette from Strawberry Foster table side, it was delicious. She was so professional and easy to talk. She explained the process when we went along. Very recommended for a nice dinner.
The food and the service were top Notch. We have dined inside and ordered 2 Grilled Octopus apps that our 7 years old loved, branzino was delicious and filled table side, lasagna, fusilli al forno, and a child part of the pappardelle pasta with butter. The drinks were great, The Last Word and a Paloma and Dessert was a delicious chocolate cake and table side Bananas Foster, which was the first for our mother In-Law to join us.
What a pleasure was to eat here tonight! The first time here and the service was great and the food was absolutely delicious! The place is clean, the atmosphere is wonderful with the piano in the background. I noticed one thing, and that was not salt and pepper shaker on the table, and there is a good reason, you don't need it! The food is fresh and tasteful. So happy with everything, I will return.
Drinks were delicious. Had the New York Sour and some kind of homemade sorbet drink. The mushrooms risotto with duck was fantastic. Highly recommend if it's on menu as a special. The bartender was very busy but super nice and hus recommendations are spot on. I will get the banana foster next time. It looked amazing and the table presentation was fantastic. Definitely a place you must try!!
