On a recent to an old friend in Alsace, he took us to Le Vosges mountains and this quaint eatery. It is a beautiful location, with stunning views and the sound of tinkling cowbells. The interior of this establishment if beautiful all wood beamed...and lots of cowbells and farm related items used as décor. The welcome is warm and friendly. The menu is basically a choice of a hot or cold meal. The hot meal consists of a slice of warm pie served with shredded veg to start and the main is slices of boiled bacon, accompanied by a delicious glutinous potato concoction (apparently a traditional Alsace dish) and a green salad and plenty of all of it. We were participating in a reunionen in Alsace and the hosts had arranged for us all to visit the Auberge du Treh to taste a typical lunch. Although it took a while for the bus to get us up the mountain to the inn ...it was absolutely worth it. The place is so authentic. It is way up a mountain about 1100 meters above sea level. The owners were extremely friendly and the service really good. Best of all was the food. It was just so tasty and there was so much of it. Our main course for lunch was the repas marcaire a typical dish from the area. Like so many dishes in Alsace there was lots of cheese, onions and potatoes. Nous y sommes allés un dimanche vers 12h30 après avoir réservé sur la terrasse.La table était branlante, fallait pas trop bouger.....une espèce de vieille nappe plastique et toute collante recouvrait cette table. De plus, en débarrassant le couple voisin, la serveuse renversa un plat contenant des restes de repas. Elle revint avec un chiffon sale pour nettoyer la place qu'occupa ma femme. Poser les coudes sur la table revenait à poser ses bras dans une espèce de colle.....Nous avions pris une tourte crudités. La tourte était minuscule d'un goût incertain et les parts de crudités étaient infimes, la salade verte mini dans un saladier malpropre.Le tout pour 12 euros.....Le personnel pas sympa... Reserve uma mesa agora

Jolie ferme Auberge perchée sur la colline . Paysage magnifique . Se couvrir même en été , fraîcheur due à l'altitude.Accueil chaleureux et service très agréable par du personnel compétant .Très bonne tourte paysanne .Réservation obligatoire au Risque de ne pas avoir de place .Très prisé par les connaisseurs.Intérieur très jolie , dépaysement assuré.

Entre l'accueil la cuisine la gentillesse des serveurs la qualité des plats tout est fantastique à cet endroit En période haute réservez sinon il va vous falloir attendre.Profitez du massif du markstein avant ou après (il y a une jolie balade de 2 heures tournant autour du sommet).Et en partant n'oubliez pas d'acheter le master de la ferme

Restaurant situé sur la randonnée de la route des crêtes. Très bel endroit pour manger. Le repas mercaire est excellent et les serveurs sont très gentils. Même le patron passe faire un tour pour raconter ses histoires. Reserve uma mesa agora

8 of us were booked for lunch. it lies directly at the top of the vosges. great service from the owners who seem to do almost everything. very typical old building with lots of wood. large food wine

they had only one main menu, but the taste and the worth were good. many gloomy! the view of the terrace is amazing
