First let me start by saying this place is out in the country. So, if you think 15km is 15 minutes think again. More like 40. At some point you leave a paved road onto gravel and dirt. What an amazing experience!!! A family owned business for over 40 years I think. The place is squeaky clean, the cows with their big neck bells might be there to greet you. They too are very clean. Had a Fantastic rustic lunch after a long walk up the petite Ballon. Wonderful place to stop for a great lunch. Also a vegetarian menu (served with local cheese), which I didn 't expect! Good friendly service. The Roigabrageldis (potatoes) were to die for, served with cheese or meat and salad, simple but yummy! Also the vegetable soup to start was really good. Clean toilets! Really recommend!

We arrived after a long walk and took the 20 euros menu which was wonderful the soup the meat pie the potatoes the meat and the dessert. This place is amazing and is definitely worth a visit if you are in Alsace

beautiful place after several years of hiking in the small ball and every stop at the inn farm of the strohberg we were very satisfied. Warm welcome very good cuisine bravo to the owner.
