The establishment has a tired looking atmosphere and is very darkly lite for dining. Not at all what we expected for being a new pub in town. Owners, are an older couple. The man was very chatty to the point of annoying, and very rude to only other table of people that were sitting across from us. The woman, other owner, was drinking beer standing behind the bar area and actually appeared to be intoxicated. Started with garlic bread with cheese, we were told it would easily serve two people, it came to the table almost burnt on the top and the portion was equal to a hot dog bun that had been split in two, then cut into pieces, the price was $9.95 (ridiculous) for what you get. I went with 2 friends, my daughter and 2 month old grandson for a quick drink after the farmer's market. We thought we would check out the outdoor patio....we could barely get in the wood structure and my daughter was told she had to stand outside with the baby's stroller due to "fire regulations." This was after I was so nicely told that my 21 year old would not be served alcohol because she had her baby with her. Even after I told the owner that she only wanted a pop, he later came out and asked her if she would like an alcoholic drink, seriously? Even if it was "moral principals" is it appropriate for a business to refuse service to paying customers and if that is the case don't operate a...

Went for a few bevvies .. place was empty .. waited for the bartender/owner to show up and take our order .. very gruff, loud and opinionated .. and decided to have a beer for himself after he served usOnly had a few beers on tap .. not very Irish, to say the leastWatched him pour a few mixed drinks. short poured like you wouldn't believe .. and you would not believe the prices .. as an example .. $13.95 for a double caesar Nice to see a new place in town, but won't be around for long with this service and pricing

They wouldn't let us in because our 2 month old son was with us. It was 7:00 at night and we wanted to slide in for dinner. The door man wouldn't let us in, went and got the manager/owner who told us we were not welcome past 7:00 with our son. Might be good for dinner but we won't ever know. Awful service for the only pub in the small town of Shelburne.

Shelburne's best kept secret! Charming Irish pub. Good beers on tap and very tasty food. The live music creates a friendly atmosphere. Coming back for St. Patrick's day. :-)
