As soon as we sat down, we were greeted warmly by the staff and quickly brought a menu. The variety of German dishes offered was impressive and we had a hard time deciding what to order. Eventually, we settled on the bratwurst platter and a couple of steins of beer to wash it down. It is nice to have something n Bayswater other than Asian food to choose from, been in 3 or 4 times with staff, clients and family each time it has been very good. The smoothies are excellent as is the food only small criticism is that sometimes if they get a few people in at once there seems to be not enough staff to cater and we waited of menus and drinks but in small business it is hard to get the staff numbers right all the time.

Having heard good things about this place I booked a table via the internet. Received a message stating "'booking unconfirmed". Rang restaurant during lunchtime, no answer, left message detailing booking, message advised I would get a confirmation call. No call. Rang again, same routine, left message again. No confirmation call. Rang again, left message cancelling booking! Business must be booming if they can ignore customers!

The bartenders were incredibly friendly and accommodating when I wanted to sample different beers. This restaurant is great for groups, but there may be a wait for a table outside.
