First Watch The Daytime Cafe

We visited my sisters in Newport News over Thanksgiving and they took us to First Watch the first morning of our visit. We wound up at First Watch three out of five mornings! I live in a food Mecca (Asheville, NC) so I'm spoiled rotten when it comes to great eats. I wish there was a First Watch in Asheville! Everything we ordered (and we're talking 24 meals between all of us over three visits) was impeccable. The service, expediency, and atmosphere were outstanding as well. I couldn't recommend you guys more highly! Thanks for a great experience.

Food was stellar as was the service. It was my first time there and I found the menu to be so much better than the usual breakfast fare. Truthfully, it was difficult to choose my meal! I decided on the Rainbow Toast and it was delicious. I’ll definitely return!! Just get there as early as possible or you will have to wait!! It’s THAT good!

I seriously have no idea how this place could even get a bad review. My best friend and I go here every Sunday and have an amazing experience each time. The staff are all super friendly and professional, the food is delicious and comes out quickly. You guys do a great job! The iced coffee is my obsession! :

I was in the area for Mothers Day. No surprise- there was a line. After waiting an hr to be seated, it was worth the wait. What outstanding service for as busy as it was (brunch), and the food was just as good! I would recommend it not just for those visiting the area but as a destination worth tasting!!

First time ever coming there and the food was just wonderful. I had the monteray club sandwich with chicken avacado salad and the clam chowder. I was the best thing I ever tasted. Thank you. Will definitly come back again.
