Fischerhütte - Reservar uma mesa

Came from the US on a business trip. My colleague and I stayed at a hotel nearby. When he suggested the Fischerhutte we both thought it was a seafood place. To our surprise, it was a Greek restaurant. Not knowing what to order, we asked the waitress to bring us their most popular dishes. Started off with meat wrapped in a vine leaf!! I can say that I have never had something more delicious!!!! The flavors in it were so incredible. Then we had a sampler plate of all their dishes. Wow!!! Absolutely wonderful!!! I have travelled all over the world, ate at many places, and have never had better food. You won't want to miss this place!!

Do not be put off by the outside appearance of this restaurant. On the side towards the Lahn river there is a nice beer garden that I guess would be very nice in the summer (did not try this). Inside is a tastefully renovated gem of a restaurant. You can immediately tell that the owners run this place with a lot of love and attention. The menu is large enough to make you nervous that it can't all be good. However, everything we had in our group was excellent and also a very good value. The restaurant seems to be very will visited, so reservations are a good idea.

We often have dinner here; even if the prices have gone up a little, this is where we allow ourselves a dinner with Greek wine just to top off a hard day's work.

Food and service were good. Apart from that a little crowed which has its effect on the duration you have to wait for your order.

We camped in the adjacent campsite prior to paddling down to Limburg. Had a beer in this wonderful place. Great atmosphere.
