At first glance, we didn't think we would be able to eat here without a reservation. Tables completely full or with reservation cards on top were all we could see. The hostess, however, let us know you could order the same things from a stand and eat on the nearby pier, complete with wooden tables on the water.We stood in line for about ten minutes, and ordered our food. Hint: get the fish nuggets. They were beer battered and amazing when coupled with this place's homemade remoulade or honey mustard. I also loved the fried catfish (Wels). This restaurant has huge of smoking ovens using only the finest oak and I think maple wood chips. We went there based upon relatively good reviews we read online. The service was very attentive and very polite. However, the food was average. My fish was full of bones and without any taste. My husband's fish (dorade) was ok but it was served with peppered strawberries that were tasteless. They serve large portions but they should work on the quality of their food.

Excellent choice of fish, friendly service and great views. Good value for money. We were there with a group of 20 cyclists and everybody agreed that the fish dishes were excellent.

I did order a Zander fish with boiled potatoes and spinach, everything tasted good and fresh. If you are in Werder upon Havel and want to eat fish go to this restaurant!
