Flinders Lane Kitchen and Bar

Now that the children couldn't make it to Mother's Day, we went to Mother's Day Bunch for 2 at Flinders Lane on Summer Street and wow we were impressed. I would read that there are many Italians in Australia, but as the first generation Italian with long roots in the restaurant business, I would never have thought that we find GOOD Italian food in Australian restaurant. We came to a friend's dinner and had an amazing experience. Mark was so attentive and welcoming. What a charming young man! All his suggestions were on site and our favorites were the mushroom gnocchi and steamed dumplings. I wasn't crazy about my first drink order (what I didn't expect), but Mark noticed and suggested to replace it without even having to ask me. All in all great food, amazing service and a wonderful experience. We will certainly be back for more!

We decided to try out this place for restaurant week and are definitely not disappointed! We made a reservation (also on weekday) due to a live jazz band on Thursday. The server was friendly and attentive, even the administration went to check the tables. We had the tuna tars, truffled Ricotta Toast and the Wagyu Burger and truffle Mac and cheese. The truffle ricotta Toast was my favorite for the night. Overall a pleasant experience!

I love to come here for cocktails and apps! Your drinks are always so delicious and well made. And their menu is one of my favorites in downtown Stamford. Restaurant is always clean, vibe and music are always at the point and the staff is friendly and attentive. Recommend your espresso martini and the truffle Mac and cheese!
