Came here with my grandma, and here friends. Our sever Delanie was honestly top tier. The service in the area can be seriously lacking, what I can assume is from chronic verbal abuse. Regardless, Delanie was so refreshing and authentically herself, from her personality to her awesome jewelry. It says alot about a restaurant having top tier staff today, by allowing them to express their personalities, and get to be humans. If I wanted a boring beige robot of a person serving me like a robot I'd give my order to the rumba. We decided to visit Cortez and came to the Swordfish Grill for lunch on Thursday. We would normally sit outside on the water but it was too windy so we asked to be seated inside. Even though the restaurant was busy we were served verry efficiently. The service was warm and friendly and we had a very pleasant time. For lunch we both ordered one of the lunch specials The Grouper sandwich which we had blackened (they offer 3 options for how it is served). Our fish was cooked perfectly and served with French fries and coleslaw. The French fries were way above those that are normally found on most restraints. You need to try them. Parking was not as bad as some of the reviews would suggest. We had reservations and did not have to wait at all. One suggestion, we ate on the side deck, it was peaceful, but if you like it livelier, the Tiki area is where the music is. The broiled oysters were very good, as were the raw ones, but the raw ones were only partially shucked. A properly shucked oyster should have NO attachment to the shell under it. Drinks, Grouper, and sides were very good. My only complaints with Swordfish Grill are the partially shucked oysters, and the cost. It damn sure ain't cheap!

Excellent food and wonderful venue. So glad that this place was recommended to us. Our table had shrimp tacos, salads with black grouping and a chicken alfredo dish. We split a piece of lime cake made in the house.
