Buttercup had a Dr's appointment in Newport Beach and I spotted Flower Child as we were exiting McArthur and new we had to eat there after the appointment. After reviewing the menu we both wanted the same thing the Mother Earth. Ancient grains, sweet potato, portobello mushroom, avocado, cucumber, broccoli pesto, charred onion, leafy greens, red pepper miso vinaigrette, hemp seed with Tofu as the protien. We called in our order and were told 10 minutes wow I love how fast it was. When I picked up the food I was greeted by a very friendly staff and was just blown away by all the fresh ingredients that were being prepped, like the tomatoes were beautiful! I found this place to Googling “cal salad.” While I am in love with all the vegan options in Orange County, I find many of them hard-essentially veganized versions of the standard American Diet. Flower Child has some wonderful whole food plant-based options, although some of them (like the calal salad) must be modified to be vegan. In addition to the Kale salad, the Hummus plate was fantastic. Now we just need them to tame the meat!

Super tasteful always, they do not give on Vegan good options.
