Food and Co Le - Reservar uma mesa

Friend of mine and I arrived to Sarlat la Caneda in the Saturday afternoon. We flew from London to Limoges and took rent a car and it took us 2 hours to reach Sarlat. After checking in we went around 3pm to look for a place to eat as our breakfast was at 6am at the airport. Anywhere we went was either closed or they would not serve food. They only served food until 3pm but we went to some places at 2:45pm and they would not make food any more. After 40 minutes of searching we came across Food Co on the high street. Lovely owner, who is a Chef at the same time, came to greet us and took our order. We had baked Camembert which came with fries, salad, prosciutto, bread. And we also ordered Foie...

I was actually looking for Food And Co. when I arrived in Sarlat (thanks to TripAdvisor, but not help to Google Maps! ... after struggling to find it, I was a bit disappointed to let it go . One my last morning in Sarlat, by pure chance, there it was! Slightly easy to miss if you aren 't paying attention... but I am very happy that we got a chance to test it out. With outdoor seating, it was great to have a sandwich, coffee and watch the city wake up. Very friendly service... and the sandwiches too good!

Not wanting the expensive hotel breakfast, we ventured out to have breakfast at Food and Co in the heart of the bustling market (Saturday). Breakfast was hot drink of choice, fresh orange juice, bread with confitures and choice of croissant or pain au chocolat (chocolatine), all for less than 7 euros. The quality was excellent. Staff were friendly. Great breakfast stop.

What a fabulous meal. Great burgers, carbonara was delicious and food well presented. Service good. Friendly staff. Thank you!

Sit down or take away. This place serves up delicious and inexpensive sandwiches. Highly recommended!
