Forage Kitchen - Reservar uma mesa

I stopped in with my wife and a colleague from out of town and we were all very satisfied with our meals. My wife and I are vegans and Forage is obviously very vegan-friendly, but I liked how knowledgeable the girls behind the counter were of animal products. My wife and I each had a $6.50 make-your-own salad and they were extremely filling. Our colleague had one of the special salads and was stuffed for the rest of the day. We all split a goji acai bowl in two bowls for a dessert. I'd highly recommend walking down to Forage from the Capitol Farmer's Market for a better lunch option than what the junk-food vendors offer around the square.

Forage has vegan options, but they have decided not to label them anywhere on their website. So if you want to order from them, you need to call and talk to an employee who will give you a vague and puzzling oral list of what they believe can not be modified to be vegan. The list changes, depending on who you talk to and she never sounded quite sure.

This was not a great meal. It’s a bit hard to write because all the ingredients should have at least garnered neutral feelings in us, but unfortunately, they did not. Each bowl was dripping in sauce and that was the only flavor to be found. It was one of the poorer meals we had all summer. We would recommend eating elsewhere.

Super friendly staff! They offered helpful suggestions and assisted me in navigating the menu.Dietary restrictions: Very easy to get a super tasty gluten free meal here!

Lists everything out for you so super easy to see what’s in it, but didn’t taste the best. It might’ve just been the thing I ordered but didn’t love it.
