Le Fort Des Caps - Reservar mesa

We came on a Saturday evening. The place was full but luckily a table was just leaving. A group that came right behind us had less luck.We had fish soup and foie gras for starters and were totally under impressed. The tiny piece of foie gras was covered with far too much salt, and was totally tasteless. It also had a funky green color, but luckily didn't taste spoiled. My wife had fish soup 'cappuccino style' with a thick layer of whipped cream. Almost as much as the soup itself.Fortunately the main course was actually pretty good. Was this the same chef? The restaurant was re-opened on Good Friday after an overhaul of the restaurant and a new' more contemporary menu. We own a place nearby so manage to visit quite often from the uk and always enjoy the seafood. Whilst there wasn't much choice for carnivores before, we now have a great new menu with steak cooked to perfection. We visited for Sunday lunch on Easter Sunday as they had been open for a mere two days and again for dinner on Saturday of the May bank holiday last weekend. both visits were perfect. The restaurant was full on both occasions. Well done Fort des Caps (the new name for the restaurant). Looking forward to visiting again in June .

we stopped there and had lunch on the covered terrace. The place was pretty busy, which was a good sign.As starter, we had the guacamole and crab, which was very good; and the smoke salmon and tzatziky, which was ok.As main dish, we had salads: the sud-ouest was ok but the foie gras was tasteless and the smoked duck a little bit too hard; the goat cheese was ok too.The daily dessert was a "Mille-feuille aux fruits rouges" and it was very nice.

good evening since the change of owner become the fort of the caps I wonder if the chef has the skills for this kind of activities seafood tray served on a bed of salad instead of algae, oysters open to the burin hammer that loves the scales so much better for him, made mockery, the boss will send his cuisto in formation to open the oysters "hallucinant" Reserve uma mesa agora

What to say other than zero?30 minutes waiting before having the card by a medium polite waitress1h15 before being served with dishes without consistency, without interest and probably not homemade...All at extravagant prices! I did not know the vicking, but the new owner obviously does not practice the same kitchen. To escape without hesitation!

What? a furious urge of kidneys prepared by a real cook!!!! a place to keep preciously in his book of good addresses, a real pleasure! quality food lovers, relaxed atmosphere, try!just don't look for the viking, the name is now the fort of the caps.

on the road between the two caps, at the corner of the assembling crossroads, a nice restaurant, beautiful setting, attentive and efficient staff; I have eaten the dish of the day, crab risotto and shrimp - tasty. Good value for money

a large local (in the 1st floor it sits very quiet, at the bottom it is very typical of land) with fine kitchen. especially the clam dishes are phenomenal
