Fort Mitchell Public House

Had recently lunch on a weekday and overall good experience. We sat outside on the terrace that was beautiful and each table was filled. Our server was friendly and prompt and food came out quickly. We tried the Nashville Hot Chicken Wrap and the Italian Sub. The chicken slaughter was overwhelming a small amount of roasted chicken, a few pieces of cabbage, and a little cheese. I would recommend to raise all above and really charge the thing, especially the cabbage for a good crunch, and try to suck the chicken in any sauce before wrapping and serve with one side of ranch or blue cheese. It would crash a few notches and make it unforgettable! The taste was not great and it was not hot at all...

What a great restaurant! The ambience is warm, cozy and welcoming. But what makes this place so great is the excellent service and delicious food. Today a good service is difficult to reach, but not here at Fort Mitchell Public House. From hostess to server and busboys, everyone was happy, attentive and awaits all our needs. Drinks were quickly refilled, dirty plates quickly picked up and the food was excellent. I had the grilled pork chops and they were some of the best I ever had. They were juicy, tender and full of taste. My husband shaved over the potato soup and claimed it was the best he ever had. I've never been here before and wanted to look at it. Menu was varied and great. I have the apple walnut salad with grilled chicken with balsamico dressing instead of raspberry. Perfect conditions from chicken to cranberries to salad. Very delicious. I also have a side of Saratoga chips. My only complaint was the BBQ sauce was super sweet and that's just not my personal favorite. Otherwise, great waitress and a friendly atmosphere!

Cosy restaurant with good food and good service. My husband had the Nashville Hot Chicken Wrap and I had the Ham and Swiss Melt. Both were really good! The melt came on a pulp roll with honey dijon that made this sandwich stand out! Our service was fast and friendly and the prices were reasonable. You have a nice terrace for when the weather is warmer.

We tried this great place for the first time tonight for my husband’s birthday. Our experience was exceptional. Karen made us feel so at home and comfortable. We had excellent food and wine and can’t wait to return!
