The most wonderful canal-side pub around! Just can’t be beat, having a pint canal-side Staff are also very welcoming and efficient. There’s a good selection of bar snacks and top-notch pub food and it’s cosy inside too. Not really my ‘local’, but I walk the extra distance to make it my ‘local’ just because I’m so fond of the place

Visited for the first time today. My son just moved to the area. My parents said they traveled all the way from Suffolk and had the best Roast dinner ever! I had the shrimp jacket that was beautiful. Great meals and great service in a beautiful location. We're coming back!

After all this, we finally managed to see Caroline and Graham again. We went to Di Birthday Dinner last night. And was not disappointed, the service and the food were amazing. I'm glad you survived the last two years. See you soon

The location is absolutely stunning. Have a lovely walk along the canal before or after your meal. The food was freshly prepared and tasty with a very generous portion size.

Great pub. Nice outside seating area next to the canal and welcoming staff and good service all round. Lovely home cooked food!
