Fox Creek General Store

A friend and I stopped here for dinner after hiking Mount Rogers. Even though we’re not from the area, the folks at Sarah’s made us feel very welcome! The smoked prime rib was absolutely killer. The ambience was relaxing and the perfect capstone to day in the mountains. This is a unique place that was, every moment, a breath of fresh air in a world of 30-minute-sit-down chain restaurants.

What an awesome place. We got there at 10:30 Sarah open up and let us look around. She had the grill going on in the back a wonderful smell. All homemade food we had prime rib sub delicious and cold beer for lunch. A must stop for bikers

Definitely visit. You will be impressed and surprised. We were. We had lunch and an acoustic guitar and singer at noon on July 4th. Smoked pork BBQ and Prime Rib sandwich were awesome.

Stopped in for a sandwich and then dessert and coffee. Great food, friendly people, will definitely be back!
