Fox Hound Sports Tavern

We was the first time in Fox and Hound . We was looking for a place to watch the UFC fight. 5$ cover charge was okay with me , I understand that in times like now you can't hand out to much free things. Our waitress was great, attentive and helpful. I know it's a pup but I do wish there where more seats without high chairs. My husband had an injury and I have back problems so going up and down the chairs was a bit a struggle. The food was okay, but the chicken bacon ranch pizza was actually really good. I was going to give a 1 star review because the first waitress was giving an attitude about not giving a menu. Once she started getting political about the beer virus I didn’t want to hear it. She walked away and another waiter Erick took over and calmed my mood down. He went out of his way to make sure everything went well. I’m glad that I didn’t leave after the experience with the first waitress. If you come make sure you get Erick as your waiter. They have many wide screen TVs and it’s packed yet not over crowded. Great lively atmosphere.

We had a great time. Fox and Hound set aside a room for an informal gathering for us and they were very attentive and quick with service. I was sorry to see that they weren't more crowded on a Friday night. But the bathrooms were clean (always a big deal for me), the servers quick but didn't rush us and the prices were pretty reasonable for NJ. Since they aren't overly crowded in the regular seating area, this seems like a great date place or place where you can talk. So many bars are so loud and dirty.

Great place to watch sports. Many screens with lots of games to choose from. Lots of finger foods and big drink menu. Many weekly specials as well. Favorite place to chill.
