Ive been coming to franks for years, i usually have a great time the service is usually top notch but this time was way different. I went 8/29 at around noon with my boyfriend we’re a younger couple. Im a server myself i know about the stereotypes of younger couples coming in “not tipping” plus my bf is of a native descent and i also know that stereotype unfortunately. but there was no reason to treat us less than. We had heard about Frank's Famous Chicken Waffle restaurant and it was on our list when we planned a road trip from San Jose, California to Phoenix, Arizona. We decided to make a stop in Albuquerque, New Mexico before continuing on to Denver, Colorado. Let me tell you, it was definitely worth the detour to visit this restaurant. The chicken and waffles were absolutely delicious. The server and the owner were both very friendly. The owner even came out to greet and chat with us, sharing that she had recently moved to Albuquerque from the Bay Area. We were the first customers to walk in that day. To be honest, our estimated wait time of 25 minutes turned out to be 40 minutes. We noticed that people who arrived before us had not yet received their orders. After we placed our order, it took about 30 minutes for our food to arrive. Despite the staffing shortage, the staff was very friendly and did their best to keep up with the busy atmosphere. However, the delicious food more than made up for the wait time. I was impressed that even during a rush, they still managed to serve high-quality dishes. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant.

I ordered the 8-piece famous tender plate and the Junior plate, which comes with 3 wings and a waffle. The wings were perfectly crispy and delicious, while the tenders were juicy and thick. The waffles were thin and had the perfect texture to pair with the chicken. I also enjoyed the cinnamon butter. Although the chicken was not as seasoned as I prefer on its own, the Louisiana hot sauce on the table was fantastic. The staff was incredibly kind as well. This place was awesome, clean, friendly server...thank you Q for such a nice lunch with my cousin, we had the catfish with fried green beans, sauteed collards with smoked turkey, fried okra, fried pickles. They were delicious ????, next time will try thechicken waffles ???? ???? ????..Will definitely go back and send others to try their delicious foods.

Amazing! Everything was delicious! Got the 6 piece and 2 waffles. Comes with a whipped cinnamon butter and maple syrup. Also tried the tenderloin plate, mac and cheese, greens, fried mushrooms, red beans and rice. All were very good. Definitely would goback again. The staff are extremely friendly and they make sure everything came out perfect.

Everything I tasted was so good so fresh and it's hard to impress me. Had chicken n waffles, candied yams. So good! My fam had chicken fried steak meal, the gravy was 10/10! We will be back!

Franks was on it today. Great food, customer service, and everything. Bacon pecan waffle was the most amazing thing ever! Def one of my fav spots
