Fredericks - Reservar uma mesa

We were apprehensive about dining here after reading mixed reviews but we could not fault any of our meals. We arrived a bit early so sat at the bar and had a few of the cocktails off the menu, there are plenty to choose from! We were seated in the back dining area which was very nice. We all had a starter and main and couldn’t fault anything, we really enjoyed all the food. There wasn’t a long wait for the food either and the waiting staff were really helpful and attentive. If we ever came back to Cockermouth we would definitely eat here!

Sadly I really couldn’t recommend. Went for a premium option on the menu the hanging kebab. Firstly we waited 50 minutes for 3 hanging kebabs, which is excessive. Over cooked meat and the chip pans hadn’t been cleaned out, had remains of sweet potato fries in our normal fries… Not mentioning the poor service having to flag down a waiter for another drink despite the restaurant being relatively quiet. Very expensive for the quality of food provided.

Absolutely amazing place to visit. The food and service were exceptional. The portions are a good size and the service was just lovely. We could not fault it at all. A lovely end to a stay in the Lakes.

Lovely restaurant, the staff were all very friendly. We both had the steak burgers which were much bigger than we anticipated, but sooo good! Lovely drinks too.

Excellent food and service. Have been twice in a week. Both meals were delicious. Service was good. Highly recommended
