Riding a bike along the Danube, lunch beckoned. Open air with cover for shade, this rustic stopping point offers food for any appetite. The soup with"frittaten" was delicious, once I had it heated a bit more. The Debreziner with spicy mustard and freshly grated horseradish was yummy, and I followed it with a small green salad.Only drawback, the wasps (or as American's would call them: yellow jackets) proliferate in most outside dining locations.

Wowzer. We are on a bike trip along the Danube from Passau to Budapest. Staying in a hotel nearby we rode our bikes along the path and SO lucked into this amazing place. Ragingly unpretentious, brilliant farm to table organic deliciousness for these prices. Meals with wine, beer and desert $ 30.00. A must stop if you are staying near here!
