Fritanga Nicaraguan Cuisine

We loved our lunch of two appetizers from @fritanganica.stl! Maduros con queso sweet plantains were perfectly cooked, and this fantastic hunk of cheese was crispy on the outside and smooth on the inside. Chichiarron de pollo crispy, deep-fried little chicken drumsticks that came with an herb sauce and a tangy, spicy citrus sauce. Oh, and fried green plantains, too! They were both so good! That being said, even though there was only one other couple in the restaurant, it took about 40 minutes to get our food. Seemed kind of long to me!

We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at Fritanga Nica in St. Louis! The sweet plantains with cheese were cooked perfectly, with a crispy exterior and a smooth interior. The crispy chicken drumsticks, accompanied by a brownish crumble and tangy sauce, were delicious. We also tried the fried green plantains, which were equally tasty. However, despite there being only one other couple in the restaurant, it took approximately 40 minutes to receive our food. It felt like we were waiting forever!

Fritanga is a great place for some traditional Nicaraguan food. The drinks are interesting and different as well as the flavors. Everything we tried we liked but to be fair we like this style of food. I think you will too and the place has received a recent facelift which I think was well done. A bit more modern and minimalist now.

Food was fantastic, I ate every bit and every was well seasoned and balanced. Our water and waitress were incredibly nice and helpful. The ONLY advice I would give, is maybe a little less grease. However, that doesn't deserve to take a star away. Reserve uma mesa agora

The service was excellent, the hosts were friendly, and the food and drinks were delicious. Our group enjoyed steak and snapper dishes along with yucca prepared in various ways. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!

it was my first time trying Nicaraguan food, and I loved it ! the service is really good, the restaurant is really clean, and the food is delicious ??for sure I'm gonna go back.

The whole experience is amazing. The food is made with love and passion. The staff are always welcoming! The food is so fresh and tastes delicious and full of flavor.

The food was amazing! It was my first time trying Nicaraguan cuisine and it was wonderful. I definitely plan on coming back!
