Ga Hyung Ru, a Korean-Chinese restaurant, provides a distinctive dining experience that deviates from typical fare like bulgogi, BBQ, or hot pot. This charming establishment focuses primarily on noodles and rice dishes, offering a cozy, home-cooked vibe. I ordered the Seafood, Pork, and Black Bean Sauce served over noodles for $12.75. The black bean sauce, one of their highlights, was rich in flavor, featuring notes of bean paste and caramelized onions. The pork and seafood, which consisted only of shrimp, blended seamlessly into the dark sauce, although their textures remained apparent. Overall, the sauce struck a perfect balance—it was slightly salty without being overpowering and paired b...

This has become my new favorite Korean restaurant! My wife found it through a blog, and I’m so glad she did. The location is convenient with easy access and plenty of parking available. It’s also kid-friendly, which is a plus—our toddler had a high chair to use. The prices are very affordable, and the portion sizes are more than generous. While the atmosphere isn’t particularly fancy, the food truly captures the essence of authentic Korean comfort. The area around the restaurant is quiet and serene, making it a great choice for families. The service was consistently courteous and prompt, which enhanced our experience. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and left feeling completely satisfied. I high...

If you love spicy Jam Bong seafood soup, you must visit this restaurant. The soup is bursting with flavor and has no oil at all, plus the noodles have a fantastic texture. They also offer a lunch special that comes with spicy fried chicken. Although it's priced at around $24, it's well worth it due to the generous portion size. The service is consistently friendly and inviting. For parking, there are several spots designated for restaurant patrons at the back.

I dined at this restaurant on a weekday evening and found no wait at all. The idea of Korean-style Chinese food intrigued me, so I decided to try the Sam Sung Ja Jang Myun. It was delightful, and it also came with two complimentary appetizers: kimchi and pickled daikon, both of which were quite delicious. Overall, it's an excellent restaurant, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for Korean cuisine in North Vancouver. Reserve uma mesa agora

I decided to try this restaurant after hearing great things about their Chinese-Korean cuisine. We ordered Ja Jang Myun and Jam Bong for dinner. Unfortunately, the noodles were overcooked and a bit too soft. The broth for the Jam Bong was sweeter than I like, lacking the usual wok aroma. As for the Ja Jang Myun, it was just mediocre. Maybe they were having an off day, but overall, the food didn't live up to my expectations.

I recommend trying this restaurant, especially the Tang Su Yuk! (Just be aware that it can get soggy and the flavor may change.) My kids mentioned that there were too many onions in the Jambong. Overall, it’s still a good place to dine.

The food quality at Hamjibak is simply exceptional! The portion of Jajangmyun for $8 is incredibly satisfying. The Kanpongi and Tongsuyuk are also fantastic! I highly recommend eating here.

This is one of the best Korean-Chinese restaurants in the area. I strongly recommend trying their kanpoonggi and jamppong! :p
