Gallego Tapas - Reservar uma mesa

Great experience! We run out of ideas where to go for lunch and it was already quite late, but we found this place on the touristic map of the city which we got in the touristic information. Normally this kind of places are touristic traps. I was sceptic about the idea, but after checking few reviews and see some pictures we decided to go. We were attender immediately and we sat in a nice dining room (with white tablecloth ; We went for the daily menu of cost 12€ with first course, second course, bread, drink and desert/coffee included. We got bottle of wine, but we asked for only two glasses- I asked a waiter and he said that this is included! Wow...bottle of decent table wine included in 1...

Since this restaurant was quite near our Hostal la Posada de Zocodover lodging, it was the perfect choice for a light bite before we headed in for the night. Since we don't eat wheat we needed a lot of help with ordering. The server went through the entire list of tapas with us, and it is extensive, to help us find what we could eat and enjoy. We ended up with cheese, roasted peppers, olives (free) and wine and spent <11 euros. It was the perfect amount of food.

We had a great lunch at this quaint little place in Toledo. We saw the TripAdvisor sign and figured it must be good! Would highly recommend it. They had a special for a total of 30 Euros per couple...each one of us had an appetizer, our own entree, our own dessert AND we split a bottle of wine, plus each got a bottle of water! All included in the price. I will say that wine in Spain...like Italy is very cheap compared to the USA prices.

Go through the bar to the dining room at the back. Food is good and staff very friendly, but go there for the mariscada, preferably with three other friends and lots of time ! Budget for €60-€80.

The quality of food is always excellent here with friendly staff. The restaurant is modern and nicely decorated and the food is reasonably priced.
