My son expressed his desire for a restaurant that wasn't too fancy or too casual. It's always a challenge to gather grown-up sons for celebrations when they are spread out, especially when you're unfamiliar with the restaurants in Leeds. After scrolling for hours and exchanging options, we finally settled on Gallery 41, which happened to have a 20% off deal on all food for certain days in November - perfect for N's birthday. We ate here as a family midweek. We thought the starters were overpriced. £6.50 for the garlic mushrooms which were thinly sliced not full mushrooms and not really garlicky. Mains were quite nice although my partner would have preferred more sauce with the carbonara, he thought it was a bit dry. The grilled lamb and chicken skewers were lovely. No draft beer £7 for large bottles of beer. It was nice but nothing outstanding and I think a little overpriced for location.

The menu has been updated since our last visit, now offering more mainstream options as well as a kids menu. The prawn cocktail was delicious, and the pasta was surprisingly good, even though it's not something I typically order. Everything tasted freshly made, and they still offer a 'mini' dessert option to enjoy with a coffee after indulging in a starter and main course. This is a fantastic restaurant for dining out during the week or for a special occasion.

First time visiting this restaurant and really wasn’t sure what to expect. The food was amazing, we had no complaints what so ever between a big group of not the easiest straightforward people! Everything was so fresh tasty and cooked to perfection. The team in the restaurant handled our party of 14 very well and professionally. I don’t think it’s too badly priced for the food (I had 3 courses for under £25) Would recommend and return! Thank you! Reserve uma mesa agora

The most disgraceful place I’ve ever been in my life the manger was shouting at his own employees , the food was not up to standard and you could even tell his employees just started as she looking scared and didn’t know what to do , I feel sorry for her and this place was not up to my standards . I saw a rat running across the floor and the food tasted like poo and sugar with a little bit of salt on it

We are visiting family in Leeds and we had a fantastic meal out. Food was excellent, lots of choice and very reasonably priced compared with the prices that we pay back home In Hampshire! The best bit however was the service which was just exceptional from all the 3 young people who looked after us so well….we will definitely be back….thank you!

Enjoyed a nice meal here. Garlic bread starter is superb. Mrs had tortellini which she thoroughly enjoyed. I had meat skewers nothing special and a bit pricy should have had spag bol in hindsight Ambience is good and service very good also will be returning as one of best restaurants in our area tbh

We adore Gallery41 so much that we always select it for our community birthdays, and we are never let down. Yesterday, I celebrated my 71st birthday there with my husband and friends, and it was, as always, a fantastic evening. Reserve uma mesa agora

Visited Gallery 41 on Mother’s Day, there were 15 of us, most of us choose from the Mother’s Day set menu, the food was lovely, everything was cooked well and the service was good, will definitely be back

Catered to our small birthday party really well, lovely atrium, attentive staff and it really felt like going back to a 90s early 2000s eatery with atmosphere
