Garcia's Mexican - Reservar mesa

This happened on 9-25-23. I went in and ordered two to-go meals. I gave specific instructions for one of the orders, which, apparently was ignored. I re-tipped the waiter because what I originally gave I did not think was enough. That was my second mistake. Since I have eaten here for so long, when I got my check I thought it was a little too much for what I ordered but didn't think anything about it. When I got home, the meals were non-edible. My sister's dish--given specific instructions--looked like it was cooked yesterday. My taco salad was awful. Don't know what has happened here, but the service and food seemed to have taken a huge nosedive. It will be a while before I return. Service:...

I spent $50 on takeout and had a 20-minute wait, so I inquired if I could sit at the bar while I waited. I decided to order a beer, but unfortunately, no one came to ask me the entire time. Four people went behind the bar, yet none of them checked to see if I wanted a drink. Meanwhile, six staff members, including the bartender, were sitting at a table next to me, chatting away. Overall, the service was disappointing. Meal type: Dinner; Price per person: $30–50.

I recently had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant, thanks to a fantastic server. He was incredibly friendly and attentive, making the whole experience enjoyable. I believe his name is Enrique. Not only was the food delicious, but the restaurant was also clean and well-maintained. Overall, I left feeling very satisfied and impressed by the great service!

I was very disappointed. Waitress was excellent but food was awful. Chips were stale, shrimp fajitas had no taste and rice tasted like boxed rice. The nuggets went in eaten because of an after taste. The food was excellent and I finished my entire plate, as did my dining companions. The staff were friendly and very attentive. I would definitely return for another meal.

Absolutely the best Mexican restaurant in Frankfort, Kentucky! The service is top-notch. I can’t wait to eat here again!
