Gardeners Arms - Reservar uma mesa

I have been a patron of this restaurant for many years, dating back to the days of Mary Reg in the 70s and 80s. It has always been a good pub, even when they didn't serve food back then. The service has always been good, as well as the beer. After Mary Reg, the pub changed ownership a few times, with varying levels of satisfaction. However, since Steve and Jill took over about ten years ago, the pub has returned to its former glory. The service is excellent, the beer is top-notch, the food is delicious, and best of all, the prices are reasonable. I struggle to understand any negative reviews, as I can only attribute them to factors beyond the control of the pub.

My husband and I dined at this restaurant on a Tuesday night in late August after making a last-minute reservation. Despite being quite busy, the host was very welcoming. The menu had a variety of options, and we ordered sizzling skillets of prawns and chicken, as well as fish and chips and a game pie. All the food came out hot and freshly made, and it was delicious. We live in the area but hadn't been to Gardners in years, but we are already excited to come back. The friendly service, tasty food, and spacious tables make this restaurant highly recommended.

This is our local pub and we love it. Had another great evening when friends from Newcastle and Framlingham visited, one had the steak and ale pie which was so big and packed with steak it would have made at least two portions in many eateries. Thoroughly enjoyable time, just as well we walked……Thanks Steve and Jill

We arrived were warmly greeted by Steve the landlord and Jill the landlady. Followed by another greeting from another Steve. The food was delicious and hot the beer was crisp and clear. . A fully traditional Public House looked after by great hosts. Thank you we will be back.

Many thanks to the landlord at the Gardner's for our stay , enjoyed the selection of Curry's and hospitality. Will definitely come again when we in the area.
