A very nice hotel. If you want to make a holiday at the Chiemsee and want to save yourself the money for the overpriced hotels on site, Hotel Garni Kern is the right point of contact. The Chiemsee is only about 20min. Car ride. Also the people in the village are very nice, you will be greeted everywhere if you only walk to the Edeka (5 min walk from the hotel) to buy something cold to drink. There is also on the 1st floor a drink machine cigarette machine, and on each floor a small balcony to smoke a cigarette. There is also a small lake, about 10 min. It's a very desolate place. Our room was simply not satisfied for the money, rarely( never) located on such bad mattresses, I no longer speak about the bathroom, as we haven't seen a bathroom (bass cell) for many years. You can't talk about sleeping because it's very bright.... No service in the house, not even coffee / drinks. To this end, a vending machine for drinks that only works with enough cents. Shadow booked two nights, after one night left...... Nothing was to be expected from the service, good day and good way should not fall hard at a reception. receptionist could not find reservation first. And they asked how: for how long have they booked? Did they pay?
