Gasthaus Rebstock - Reservar uma mesa

After more than a week on the road in Alsace we crossed the second half of our trip to the Black Forest. We specifically sought a meal that would show the fresh products from the fields on this stunning landscape, not only the standards. We met the jackpot with Rebstock. From the crisp white linen to the deep wine list to the exceptional service we cannot recommend this restaurant very much. I especially enjoyed the salmon appetizers (soft, light, buttery, sweet salmon closer to a gravlax preparation than anything smoked), as well as the rehragout (venison stew), which was from the area and served with the best cranberries (a traditional berry accompaniment). The restaurant is located in the village of Buchholz, a part of the town of Waldkirch. It is in many ways typical of restaurants in this part of Germany clean and efficient, with a comfortable dining room. However, food is much better than average for this kind of restaurant. I had a pretty simple dish of pork carving with sparrows and vegetables. The vegetables were perfectly cooked and the sparrows were of very high quality, like the carvings. Location: The restaurant was only renovated a few years ago and very cozy with a lot of taste. The garden is a dream, you sit under great big trees. Without reservation, however, it could be difficult to get a place here! Menu: Has exactly the right size, there is always at least one vegetarian dish.
