Gasthof Fluhenstein

Arrived here on the most auspicious Sunday evening with Germany playing in the World cup final as a result of which this restaurant along with most of the rest in town were closing early. The Gasthof is situated on the outskirts of town and also serves as a local for my wife's friends' son and family who leave nearby in walking distance. The restaurant is warm dark traditional and friendly with huge portions. My wife and her friend each had the Wienerschnitzel which proved too much for them delicious as it was and I was forced to assist them in finishing the main. Ate here with a group recently, and I was most impressed with the restaurant. The menu has a really wide selection, and I was so pleased to see lamb on the menu. I had lamb shank, and it was very tasty.The service was really friendly and efficient.

Etwas abseits der Touristenströme in einem Wohngebiet gelegen. traditionelles Allgäuer Wirtshaus mit angenehmer Atmosphäre.Das Essen war nicht schlecht, aber auch nichts besonders! GrossePortionen und nicht teuer.Sehr schön de Biergarten im Sommer.
