Gasthof Goldener Greifen

Charming, warm and inviting. The staff were wonderful. I asked a waitress about a painting on the wall, she laughed, I felt embarrassed. Then she took my hand, led me outside and 50 metres down the road. It was the scene from the painting and the best photo oppurtunity i have ever had. This is not a 5 star hotel, but if you look past the 20 year old wallpaper to the 800 year old mansion that it is, you will have as great of a time that i had.

Wonderful friendly staff helped with luggage and getting taxi. Room was large modern and spotless. Great ambiance with antique furniture in large 650 year old mayors home. Great food too. Right in Marktplatz so great location. Very reasonable rates. Highly recommend!

only this way it is possible that we would like to thank all of us in their house again. even if it was only 4 days. but it was unforgettable beautiful days for us. with their ease of all. thanks says family eccarius from donner (room 3)
