I ate here by myself in September. Very welcoming! it was my first night in Austria and with my poor german I explained that I wanted to have some typical tyrolean food the host very kindly took me through the menu and gave me some recommendations. I ordered a mixed platter of starters which included a variety of locally sourced foods smoked venison, lamb sausage, smoked ham, cheese etc. all delicious and the host explained the provenance of each! (the meats came from his brother who I presume is a butcher) I then had the house special schnitzel with lovey roasted potato cubes and a very generously proportioned mixed salad. I am not a big Schnitzel fan but I quite enjoyed this, 100% superior...

I had dinner at the restaurant with my mother and I cannot praise the restaurant (and the owners and the staff enough!! My mother ate a fish dish and I had an authentic Austrian carving. Both dishes were absolutely delicious! My mother is very interested in wine and the owner personally recommended her an amazing white wine and even told her a bit about the grapes and so on (I can't give more details as I can't say well with wine haha sure though that my mother was thrilled! : The restaurant is typical Tyrolean, very cozy, but nevertheless beautiful, bright and comfortable. I stayed here while I worked nearby. Perfect place to relax after work. Nice restaurant serves evening meals and excellent breakfast. Very accommodating as I had an early start. Room was impeccable and very comfortable. The bathroom had a great shower.

We came too late and it was all dark, but ringed the bell and we got our rooms, beautiful bright rooms, totally ok for the short stay and good price as well, we did not see so much, but can imagine that it is beautiful. OK Breakfast

Excellent dining room- always friendly service. Eat here, whether for lunch or dinner an excellent choice with a beautiful selection of Tyrolean cuisine and seasonal dishes. Falstaff Excellent Gourmet Restaurant
