Gasthof Wes'n - Reservar uma mesa

Just off the road 145 is the small town of Lauffen. It's a typical small town pub and the owner spoke English to us even though I spoke to him in German.We had one starter to share as the main course were huge for the price. I had the spaghetti with prawns and my wife had the zander fillet. Both were very tasty but as expected, the portions were huge, and we both struggled to finish the food. With 1 beer & 3 glasses of wine cost 43€ which is fine. I would recommend this placebo f you are hungry, and looking for good value for money. The service was also very good.

Wir waren zu einer Geburtstagsfeier angekündigt. Wenn man sich vorher anmeldet, kann man auch speziell für einen Anlass Gerichte bestellen. Wir orderten Steaks. Obwohl wir recht viele Personen waren, war die Bedienung sehr schnell, das Essen war perfekt, selbst die Steaks bekamen wir genauso durch gebraten , wie wir bestellt hatten. Ein gelungener Abend.

This is a great family run Gasthaus that provides excellent value food. The service is good and the food is consistently good, particularly the Steaks, Ribs (on Thursdays) and Schnitzel.The only issue is having to walk through the smoking area to get to the no smoking tables.

Beste bodenständige Küche, größte Portionen (2 Schnitzel am Teller!!) und exzellentes Geschmackserlebnis! Vielfältiges Essensangebot. Hier könnte man nur wegen dem Essen Urlaub machen :-) Bedienung war sehr familiär und ging gerne auf unsere Wünsche ein.

Visto che era stagione, ci siamo tuffati sugli knodel con la salsa di funghi che non hanno deluso le aspettative. Abbondanti e saporiti.Molto meglio dei ristoranti turistici a Bad Ischl, infatti si trova fuori dal paese.
