Having a food solo is never as much fun as with some friends or family together, but this great find made it so much easier. Both the owner and the waitress have made me welcome and given me a nice table. Surprisingly, most tables were either in use or reserved for groups arriving at 8:00 so that this place bounces. The location of this restaurant is unpaid in the old part of the city within the main square, which has recently been restored to its former glory. My cousin and I went up to the old town of Neuburg to walk around a bit and enjoy an early dinner. This restaurant was friendly and cozy, with a large ceramic stove radiating heat. The food was traditional and pleasant. Parking is difficult but to find in the old town at this time of the year. Do not miss a visit to the beautiful court church over the place when it is open.

This is a cosy little place with great food. Worth a visit! I ate a vegetarian knödel with mushrooms and it was heavenly. Really tasty! And so filling. My partner thought the meat was tender, but it didn’t taste much. He also thought the semmelknödel was boring but the potato knödel was nice. The cheesecake was nice too, and the piece we got was enormous…

A large selection of excellent local foods worth the trip, the wine map is very good and the carving was the best in the city

We had a very nice evening there and enjoyed food and atmosphere. Will definitely be there again for dinner.
